Abby Ramaker is a muralist and oil painter based out of Tennessee. Her work in oil paint focuses on the human figure with an emphasis on psychological spaces. Her work in murals includes realism and inspiration from nature. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting from Tennessee Tech University.
A major motivation for her as an artist can be found within her interest in the resiliency of the human spirit. Her painting of figures and the human form often focuses on internal aspects of that person that are reflected externally as well as aspects of growth seen in nature.
Her goals with paint, whether it be murals, oil painting, or teaching, all stem from a similar place of wanting to share the joy of painting.
